In 2019, my sister and I commissioned Unique Estates to manage the sale of a domestic property in North London, which belonged to my father and which we decided to sell following his death. In addition to the uncertainties in the UK domestic housing market caused by BREXIT, the process of selling the property was further affected by the need to secure grant of probate, which took several months to complete, and also the impact of the lockdown measures introduced early in 2020 in response to the coronavirus outbreak.
